My name is John.  I'd love to make something for you.

That sounds weird and oversimplified and earnest, but 'tis the facts.  'Thare the facts?  I digress.  I'm a 34-year-old visual artist/musician/cheesemaker/former-elementary art teacher based in beautiful Charlotte, NC, and I'm declaring myself OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

I have a degree in Studio Art from the College of Charleston (2004), and I taught elementary school art teacher for the past 11 years.  I've been recording and performing music since sometime in the late 90s, and I have what I like to think is a pretty solid grasp on digital production.  In 2014, I started Queen Charlotte's Pimento Cheese Royale™, which is some of the best stuff you've ever tasted. 

My favorite painter is Lucien Freud and my favorite musician is David Bowie.
